Spinal decompression · IDD Therapy®
Space for the disc. Relief for the nerve.
IDD Therapy® (Intervertebral Differential Dynamics) is an advanced, non-surgical spinal treatment on the industry-leading Accu-SPINA® system, for pain from bulging, herniated and degenerated discs.

IDD Therapy targets only the injured segment, not the whole spine. Slide to see what “decompression” means.
What is it?
Precise, gentle, computer-guided.
IDD Therapy® gradually and gently relieves pain caused by injury or compression within the spinal column. Disc degeneration or compression, as in bulging, slipped, herniated, prolapsed or ruptured discs, puts pressure on nearby nerves, and that pain can reach beyond the back and neck into the arms, legs and extremities.
Treatment for this pain often means manual therapy, medication and sometimes surgery. IDD Therapy® offers an alternative. It was first developed with neurosurgeons and is used by orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists and other professionals who want a non-surgical option for back and neck pain, with millions of treatments over several decades and an excellent safety record.

Before and after
See the difference.
- Before: the circle marks a significant disc herniation protruding aggressively into the spinal canal.
- After: the same area; the bulge is significantly reduced and no longer pressing into the canal.
Drag the line across the MRI to compare. One client’s scans; results vary from person to person.
The goal
In simplest terms: create space between the vertebrae to take pressure off the nerves that cause pain. Unlike generalized spinal treatments, many of them a form of traction that treat the entire spine, IDD Therapy® targets only the injured segments, applying dynamic energy and gentle motion to slowly relieve pressure.

What to expect.
Each treatment session takes 25 to 30 minutes.
